Clothing
• 2 synthetic long sleeve shirt
• 2 synthetic t-shirts
• 1 pair of hiking shorts
• 1 pair of trekking pants
• 1 pair of warmer hiking pants
• 1 pair of long underwear – tops and bottoms
• 1 pair of gaiters
• 1 pair socks per trekking day, at least 3 prs of lighter socks and 4 prs of heavy wool/synthetic
• 1 pair of underwear per day
• 1 lighter fleece/synthetic jacket or pullover
• 1 heavy fleece jacket
• 1 Jacket – windproof/waterproof
• 1 Goretex rain shell & pants
• 1 Camp towel – small
• 1 pair liners/light gloves
• 1 pair of cold weather gloves
• 1 warm hat
• 1 hat with brim
• 1 balaclava
• 1 pair trekking boots (medium weight, waterproof)
• 1 pair of walking/camp shoes
• 1 pair UV-blocking sunglasses with side-gussets
Other Equipment
• 1 duffel bag/backpack – pack plastic bags to protect clothes from rain if not waterproof
• 1 daypack w/ waterproof cover or a poncho
• 1 warm mountain sleeping bag (10 degree F rated)
• 2 trekking poles
• 1 head lamp (extra batteries and bulb)
• 1 emergency foil blanket
• 3 liter hydration pack
• Sun and Lip block – SPF 30+
• 2 bandanas
First Aid Kit – Your first-aid kit should include the following:
• Blister bandages/mole-skin
• Small bandages (band-aids)
• Ace bandage
• Safety pins
• Small pair of scissors
• Hand Sanitizer
Medicine to include plus any regular prescriptions
• Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen
• Hydrocortisone ointment
• Cold or flu medicine
• Antibiotics; Bacitracin

• Anti-Diarrhea; Immodium
• Sterile Eyedrops
• Anti-Emetics (anti-vomiting); Prochlorperazine (Compazine)
