Rongai/Northern Circuit/Western Breach
The Rongai Route is the least trammeled of all the main Kilimanjaro Routes, and typically merges with the Marangu Route at Kibo Huts.
MEM Tours Africa is offering a variation on this route that that links with the northern circuit, approaching the Western Breach from the west via the lonely Moir Hut, and then summiting after a night at the Crater Camp.
The Northern Circuit is very rarely used, and although this is a climbers option, it is also for those looking for a little bit of solitude on the mountain, and a different perspective on the usual Kilimanjaro Routes.
